ScribeFire

In General, Random thoughts, Uncategorized on May 8, 2008 at 7:01 PM

It’s pretty much boring logging onto wordpress manually each time to post on this blog. So, I just dug the Internet for a desktop tool for posting into a blog and I found this FireFox Extension very attractive. I’m typing this post from the ScribeFire extension for FireFox. It’s got a good interface I must say. A lot better than the GNU Blog Posting tool. I recommend that all of you give ScribeFire a try. I seem to like it a lot, atleast as of now.

Yours Skeptically,
uleadin

P.S. This is not a sponsored review. I just felt like testing ScribeFire and came up with this post :D

  1. Ahem! Its for lazy bums! Peeps like me don’t mind logging on!

  2. @Arun:

I agree that I’m a bit lazy da. It takes a lot of bandwidth as well. That’s the more important reason.

  3. is it also compatible with blogspot????

also r u sure that u r not marketing this thing MR. FIREFOX REP of our coll….

  4. @csrinath:

It’s compatible with many platforms da. I’m not marketing for Mozilla da. I mentioned the disclaimer in the post itself “This is not a sponsored review.”. I knew fellows like you will ask that question!

Actually, there’s nothing wrong if I promote Mozilla also! I have to do it anyway. :D

  5. u r anyways leavin the coll soon….(rather already left) so transfer dat post to me da….

  6. @csrinath:

    Let’s see.

  7. ScribeFire just doesn’t cut it for me :P

I use Windows Live Writer to post to my blogs. It’s got a lot of very usable features.

  8. @ShankarGanesh:

I agree da. But LiveWriter takes such a long time to install and besides ScribeFire is just a FF plugin.
