If you've been to informal events, you'd know that the atmosphere is so informal that people get addressed by their first names irrespective of the position they are in, at work as well as in society. Besides, this event is not to glorify anyone specifically. This is a discussion and there is no need to give anyone any special attention. The focus has to be on the quality of the discussion. And, well... you can't be the most important man in the room always. When the room changes, the scene changes too! Dude.
